How to Apply
To apply for a Standard Chartered Visa Gold Credit Card, applicants need to visit the bank’s website and hover the mouse over the ‘Credit Cards’ tab on the top of the page.
This will lead open a sub-menu showcasing the various credit card options offered by the bank. Select the ‘Visa Gold Credit Card’ option. You will be taken to the credit card page.
If you want to apply you can hit the ‘Apply Now’ button. This will lead to the online application form. Applicants will need to fill in the required details and will receive a call from a bank representative if the application is accepted.

Cardholders will incur the following charges on their Standard Chartered Visa Gold Credit Card.

- Annual fee – Primary card: Rs 2500
- Annual fee – Secondary card: Rs 2500
- Cash advance fee: Rs 900
- Late payment fee: Rs 900

The applicant should be at least 18 years of age. They should have a minimum net income of Rs 30,000. Based on the source of income, the applicant will need to furnish the following documents.
For Salaried Individuals
Salaried individuals will need to produce a copy of identification such as the National Identity Card (NIC), passport, or driving license.
They will also need to produce a certified salary slip confirming the salary, proof of variable income for the past three months, and proof of any other fixed allowance.
For Self-Employed Individuals
Self-employed individuals will need to produce a copy of identification similar to salaried individuals, i.e., National Identity Card, Passport, or driving license.
For proof of income, self-employed individuals will require to produce a letter from an auditor confirming the annual income for the last two years.
You will also need to provide a business registration certificate and bank statements for the previous six months (company and personal).
